What Gives? Volunteer Opportunities for Atlanta Kids

Little ones sometimes need a gentle reminder why the “gimmes” have got to go. What better way to have them focus on things that matter rather than things than to involve them in a local volunteer project. It’s never too early for your child to start helping their favorite cause, and even the youngest volunteers can step up to help the community with these volunteer opportunities where even the smallest pair of hands is helpful.

Cuddle With Care:

Furkids
Calling all young Dr. Doolittles! Most animal shelters limit volunteers to teens and above, but Furkids gladly accepts kid volunteers of all ages. Most volunteers are age 12 and up, but the shelter is happy to consider younger volunteers as long as parents come along. And if your family wants to foster a pet, Furkids will match you with a temporary animal companion who can play well even with your littlest ones.

Good Mews
