Furkid’s Foster Nationally Recognized by Petco Foundation Susan Struble, a foster volunteer at Furkids has been recognized as one of 22 National Foster Heroes by the Petco Foundation and BOBS from Skechers in celebration of National Foster a Pet Month in June. Many are having to layoff or furlough employees, in addition to canceling major fundraisers. "Every March, we have our anniversary party and we raise $150,000, $200,000. We had to cancel that event. Furkids Shine at 2019 Cotton States Cat Show Did you know that Furkids has award-winning cats available for adoption? Yes, some of our rescue kitties are Cotton States Cat Show award winners! Our volunteer team entered six current Furkids and three adopted Furkids in the Household Division at the Cotton States Cat show recently, and all six of our Fur-Kitties made the finals in at least one ring. Two even made the finals in seven out of eight judgings! The Household Division is a difficult one to judge. Furkids is partnering with Troncalli Subaru to bring affordable pet vaccinations and microchipping to north Atlanta! We will also have pups and kittens available for adoption.
