Furkids Forward Advocates connects driven young professionals with Furkids Animal Rescues & Shelters through hands-on volunteering, philanthropy, and a growing network of like-minded community leaders. Join a founding group shaping the future of animal welfare in metro Atlanta, while building lasting friendships and professional connections along the way.
What You'll Do
• Attend social and philanthropic events, from percentage nights and game nights to a signature 5K and holiday party
• Volunteer hands-on at Furkids' 9-acre Cumming campus
• Help raise funds and awareness that directly support rescued cats and dogs
• Build your network with other emerging community and business leaders
• Gain nonprofit leadership experience and build a pathway toward future board service
What We're Looking For
• Full-time professionals, ages 25–39
• 2+ years of work experience
• Active, engaged members of their community
• Able to attend 4 quarterly in-person meetings and monthly virtual check-ins
• Ready to commit to at least one volunteer opportunity per year
What It Takes
Members contribute through annual membership dues of $150 and an annual give/get of $250 (through personal giving, event ticket sales, corporate matches, or friends & family donations) in support of Furkids' mission.
