Ilyssa's Rescue Story - She is Safe NOW!
Furkids responded quickly yesterday, Nov. 7, to save Ilyssa, pictured left, from animal control. Her back end was cruelly lit on fire by some evil human being, likely on Halloween night. She spent the night in emergency and is now at a surgeon to try to repair the damage done to her tail. She is currently on pain mediation to try and keep her comfortable. Please help us with a donation for Ilyssa and the many other animals we save like her each day.

UPDATE 11/9: We spoke with the vets today and Ilyssa is doing as well after surgery yesterday. She had to have her entire tail amputated and is now receiving pain medication and laser therapy. Thank you all for you warm wishes!
UPDATE 11/11: Ilyssa has been released to a medical foster home tonight. She is doing very well on anti-inflammatory medications.
