We’re Going North to Save Lives

OUR TRANSPORT PROGRAM IS LIVE!

Dear Friends,

I am so excited to share with you today that our new Transport Program is up and running!

Yesterday, we successfully delivered 60 cats to three shelters up north. We are now partnering with Animal Shelter, Inc. in Sterling, MA, Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA, and the Pennsylvania SPCA! These partnerships, and many more that are forming now, will allow us to save the lives of thousands more homeless cats and kittens from Georgia!

It is hard to believe that some of our northern counterparts are lacking cats to adopt to good homes. Yesterday, they received our southern kitties with open arms and hearts! Many will be adopted by the weekend! What joy this brings to all of us at Furkids!

Our mission is to save lives and right now we are on the cusp of saving so many more this year because of our commitment to do what it takes to get these deserving animals loving homes!

Will you help us prepare for our next transport that will leave on April 9?

It costs approximately $75 a cat to vet them, quarantine them and transport them up north. What a wonderful program to be a part of!  Your dollars truly save lives! Please take a moment to donate now and help us make our next round of transports possible! Every dollar raised is appreciated and so vital to our success! We will continue to send cats as long as we can afford to do so.

Make a Donation

It is our vision to save approximately 100 cats and dogs a week from kill shelters throughout our state, provide them medical care, and find them homes locally, as well as through our partners up north.

Thank you in advance for helping us make these lifesaving missions possible! We are so grateful for all you do for Furkids!

Warmly and appreciatively,

Samantha Shelton
