Has your adopted Furkid changed your life?

Share your story - Help save lives and make our holiday wishes come true!

The Petco Foundation and co-sponsor BOBS from Skechers are looking for looking for stories about how the pet you adopted from Furkids has changed your life for the better, and Furkids needs your help! There are dozens of prizes, and winning stories will receive up to $100,000 in a Holiday Wishes grant award for Furkids PLUS winning adopters will receive a Petco shopping spree and BOBS from Skechers shoes!

All you need to do is write and share your story about how adopting your pet has changed your life for the better, as described in this video.

Don't think your story is special? Think again!

You don't even have to be a great storyteller - we're happy to help you tell your story! While there is a winning award of $100,000, there are numerous other awards for 2nd, 3rd; even 5th place, so there are many opportunities to win, and the more entries, the better our chances!

There is a $25,000 award for the organization that has the most entries - so you'll help Furkids simply by entering a story!

Submit your Holiday Wishes story by September 23! Here's how:

1. If you've adopted a cat or dog from Furkids, share how your pet changes your life for the better each and every day.
    
2. Write your story in 500 words or less. Remember - just entering helps Furkids!! If you need help, email news@furkids.org and a member of our team will contact you to assist. Visit here to read last year’s winning entries and get some inspiration. Remember, good stories will show how your pet changed YOUR life.
    
3. Once you create your account, just add your story and upload at least four photos to support your story (*one photo of your pet by him/herself, *one photo of you or your family with your pet and *two additional photos). You can add video too to help illustrate the bond between you and your pet also.
    
4. Include Furkid's contact information so that we can be eligible:

5. Submit your story and photos by NOON on September 23, 2020. But hurry because only the first 10,000 stories are guaranteed to be reviewed.
