If you’ve ever spent an evening on one of their patios, you already know why we’re so excited. A Wish on a Fallen Leaf Last year, Eric Kline, owner of Eclipse di Luna, was going about an ordinary day when he spotted a fallen leaf and made a wish on it. He wished for a dog, preferably a housetrained one. Then he went on about his day and didn’t think much about it. It wasn’t long before Eric stumbled into a Furkids adoption event and met a very special pup, and what happened next could only be described as an act of fate. 

The Furkids volunteer introducing them mentioned that this sweet boy was already housetrained, and his name? Leafy! At that moment, Eric knew Leafy was destined for his family. He made Leafy a permanent member of his pack, the rest is history. 

Leafy’s adoption was the start of a blossoming friendship between Eric and Furkids. Through a mutual friend, Eric came to know our CEO, Samantha Shelton, and got a closer look at the work we do everyday for homeless animals in our community. He saw it, and knew he wanted to be part of it.
