Spring is in the air - and with it brings fresh starts and new beginnings, which is why we are so excited to be part of PetSmart Charities’ “National Adoption Week” from March 23rd through March 29th, 2026. To celebrate, Furkids will be hosting several adoption events at PetSmart locations throughout the Atlanta area to help find forever homes for our animals! 

Adopting a Furkid during PetSmart’s National Adoption Week can help make a huge impact! Every adoption provides a loving home for an animal in need, allows us to open up space in our shelters to save another life, and helps us get closer to our goal of 1,500 PetSmart adoptions in 2026. If we reach this goal, we have the incredible opportunity to receive a $40,000 grant, giving Furkids the ability to expand our outreach, rescue more animals, and find even more loving homes for pets in need.
