Furkids offers a great way to stay out of the heat this summer. At our 10,000 square foot, cage-free, no-kill cat shelter, we encourage kids (and .jpg)
kids-at-heart) to sit down and read to our cats. It’s a great way to keep your child’s brain sharp while they are out of school, and it contributes to a cat’s recuperation by helping them to become more socialized in preparation for their forever homes.
You may bring your own book or borrow one from the shelter shelf. The cat shelter, located at 2650 Pleasantdale Rd, Ste 8, Atlanta, GA 30340, is open for reading on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
