Nitro Takes a Deep Breath - Volume!

We love to share the amazing transformations of the animals we rescue, but sometimes the difference between "before" and "after" rescue isn't something you can see. When little Nitro came to us, she had a terrible upper respiratory infection. Just listen to her struggle to breathe in this video - and then listen to how far she has come!

Not only has Nitro been ill, but her siblings also are recovering from intestinal woes. They are all getting healthy, thanks to veterinary care and medications from the Furkids medical team in our new veterinary clinic in Cumming - and thanks to their foster mom, who took Nitro and her siblings into her home to heal in a safe enviornment. Between great medical care, the love of a foster mom, and the security of siblings in a real home, Furkids is giving these kittens the best chance to heal physically and grow up happy; knowing home, family and love. Nitro, Ozymadias, Orion, Achilles, Arthur and Sheba will be ready for you when you come to meet them some time soon!

We couldn’t do this for the dozens of kittens we rescue if it were not for your generous support. As we approach the 2020 Kitten Season with a little trepidation - we appeal to you, our Furkids family, to help us prepare for what we know will be an onslaught of homeless orphan kittens and mamas with litters. Many of them will be sick and incur high medical bills, and all will need a foster home and supplies for feeding and care.

Please donate now by clicking the ‘donate’ button below, or go to our website at furkids.org/donate, or mail your donation to us at 5235 Union Hill Rd, Cumming, GA 30040. If you can’t donate, please consider opening your home to a new family for a short time while they grow up enough for adoption. Furkids will provide the supplies; you provide the safe space and care. With your help, we can take this kitten season on with confidence, and save even more kittens in 2020!
