54 Homeless Animals Granted a Holiday Wish
We rescued a total of 35 cats on Dec 12. Our dedicated volunteers saved the lives of 13 cats from Murray County Animal Control and 15 cats from Jasper County Animal Control (we will be going back for 15 more this week). The clock was ticking for those cats, and our team worked hard to save them! Donate now to their care. In addition to our planned rescue, another seven cats were abandoned at our shelter totaling 35 cats saved in a day! Read the heart warming tale of Pebbles and Bitsy, two of these rescues. On Dec. 23, we changed the fate of 12 abandoned dogs at a local animal clinic. Had Furkids not stepped in, the dogs were heading to Cobb Co. Animal Control the next day – Christmas Eve. On that day, we also saved six cats from Cobb Co. Animal Control and an elderly Chihuahua found on a busy street totaling 13 dogs & 6 cats saved on Dec. 23. Despite all of the extra work, these were great days for Furkids because we were fulfilling our mission of rescuing and caring for homeless animals! Watch this video of these rescues and our team in action. It will warm your heart. Today means life instead of death for these lucky animals. Please help Furkids continue to do what we do best and bring life – even to one more animal. Click HERE to donate $10, $20, $50 or any amount. And then thank yourself for being part of a movement so much bigger than all of us. Thank you and best wishes for a blessed New Year filled with good health and joy!
