Recovered and Ready for His Debut!
Remember Lucky G? From all the way back in February?
This poor fella was living on the streets in rural Georgia and was hit by a car. He managed to drag himself to hide behind a Red Box kiosk nearby, where he suffered in pain all night. He landed at animal control, where they were going to have to euthanize him due to his injuries, which included a badly broken hip. Furkids got the call: can you help? We're so happy we said yes! Today, Lucky G goes by Frogger; an appropriate name given to him as a result of the road-hopping escapade that landed him with us at Furkids. For the past several months, Frogger has lived with one of our most dedicated and experienced foster moms, who has nursed him, and given him physical therapy and endless love for the past seven months.
After seven months of rehabilitation, Frogger is ready for his big day at Petco’s National Adoption Weekend! He has worked hard to get to this point, and he’ll finally be making his debut at Petco, where he'll meet all the people who donated and rooted for him - and perhaps that special adopter who will love him even if he’s not so much of a jumper anymore. His foster mom says, "He's such a lover boy and would love to tell his story and maybe he'll find his forever home. He loves to cuddle, sit on your lap and be held. He’s truly a lap cat!!
If you'd like to know more, Frogger is featured in this video.
