Meet Savannah in Atlanta
Like the city she's named for, sweet Savannah exudes classic beauty, warmth, and charm. Furkids staff and volunteers agree, she is EVERYTHING (and more) anyone could ever want in a cat.
So, why has she spent all of her seven years in Room 11 of the Furkids shelter? Well, sadly, Savannah is a victim of BCS. Yes, Black Cat Syndrome. You've always heard it, and it is for real; black cats are mostly overlooked by adopters, who are usually looking for a "fancier" cat. But, ask anyone who is owned by the proverbial black cat - you will hear OVER AND OVER again, that the inky felines are pure love!
Fancy this: a kitty who comforts other cats in Room 11 when they are stressed. Who ALWAYS greets visitors to "her" room with a welcome as sweet as Mrs. Wilkes banana pudding. Who knows how to go with the flow, whether it's on River Street or Tybee Time.
Savannah, GA, is known as the "Hostess City of the South". No surprise, our Savannah is known as the "Hostess KITTY of the South"! Won't you please take her home, forever?
You can thank Furkids later. We just want this very special girl to experience "home", as soon as possible! Apply to adopt Savannah NOW or come visit her any Saturday at our Doraville Cat Shelter (2650 Pleasantdale Rd. Suite 8 Atlanta, GA 30340). Email [email protected] or call 770-613-0009 with questions.
