Nickajack wears his heart on his sleeve. He is cuddly 16-pound Chihuahua mix just waiting for a great chance in life. At nine years old, sweet Nickajack was saved from a high-kill facility. Small Dog Rescue knew he had lots of love to share. A stunning fellow, he quietly works to get people's attention and then offers tons of snuggles and cuddles - and kisses, too!
He has great house manners and is a perfect match for a home looking for a couch partner on TV nights! He'll even share space under an afghan or quilt! Nickajack doesn't mind other dogs (and ignores cats), but his mind is on his relationships with the people he adores. He also enjoys curling up in quiet, soft spots in the house. He's content to stay at home with those he loves. New places and people can make him timid at first. Then he shows his charm.
He has some vision limitations and will do best in a home without stairs or with a gate at the bottom of the stairs. Nickajack has a reduced adoption fee of $125 because he is an senior dog. Apply now to give him a retirement home!
