Tomi was a feral cat who was trapped while pregnant—she even had her kittens the very same evening. Despite the stress, she quickly became a devoted mom, nursing, bathing, and doting on her babies, who are now healthy and happy thanks to her care. Although she’s still very fearful, she has made steady progress and is beginning to relax, even venturing out of her crate to sit on the carpet. She hasn’t gotten comfortable approaching people yet, but with patience and gentle encouragement, she has real potential to become a loving companion. Tomi will need an experienced, patient adopter in a quiet home without small children or other pets, someone willing to earn her trust at her own pace.
