Dash may be small, but this 4-year-old, 11-pound Yorkie has a big personality! He came to us after his owner could no longer care for him due to financial hardship, and the shelter environment has been very stressful for him. Dash can be reactive toward strangers and during handling situations like crating, kenneling, or grooming, so he is looking for an adopter with experience handling reactive dogs. He needs someone patient and understanding who will give him the time and space to decompress and build trust at his own pace. Because of his sensitivities, we do not recommend Dash for a home with small children. A calmer home and a slow approach will help this little guy feel safe and secure again. Dash deserves a fresh start with someone willing to see past his fears and give him the chance he so desperately needs. Dash currently weighs about 11lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 05/07/2022), and his adoption fee is $510. Dash has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
