Meet Toby: a sweet, fluffy sheepdog/Polish Lowland mix who stole hearts the moment he arrived. Rescued from an overcrowded animal control facility, Toby is now settling into foster care and showing us more of his wonderful personality every day. It's no wonder he's become a staff and volunteer favorite! His foster says he is "the best second dog we could ask for". Toby is potty trained, a great walker on leash, listens beautifully, and handles outings outside the home like a pro. He has a big personality to match his fluffy exterior - he's vocal and not afraid to tell you exactly what he thinks, which only adds to his charm. Though he vocal and expressive, Toby's foster said he's very tolerant with nail trims, grooming, and being handled. Toby loves other dogs, especially females, and would really benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home. A fenced yard would be a dream for this boy. He's also been wonderful and very respectful during interactions with children. Toby is still coming out of his shell, and every day he shows us what a well-rounded, loving dog he truly is. If you're looking for a loyal, expressive companion, Toby just might be your guy. Toby currently weighs about 70lbs., is almost 7 years old (est. birth date 07/15/2019), and his adoption fee is $315. Toby has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
