A foster-to-adopt option is available for Victor so you can get to know one another before making it official! Meet Victor! This mini Poodle mix may have three legs, but he has a heart (and a personality) big enough for any home. Weighing just 12 pounds, Victor came to Furkids after an injury led to the amputation of one of his legs. He’s adjusted beautifully and loves to run and explore. Victor is crate trained, leash trained, and ready to be your devoted companion. We are requiring a home with a secure fenced yard appropriate for a small breed dog and are not considering a home with small children. While Victor is incredibly affectionate and loves giving kisses, he can bond with a person and not be as approachable with other members of the family. It takes him time to trust people. While he make be ok with someone one moment, that could change during the next interaction. Because of his protective instincts, we are seeking an adopter that has experience with dogs with protective behaviors. We will require multiple meet and greets and are not considering out-of-state adoptions. Victor currently weighs about 12lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 10/03/2023), and his adoption fee is $315. Victor has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
