Pax is one of the pups from a litter of Portuguese Water Dog mixes born in May 2026, and he's on the lookout for a family to call his own. He's tiny at this stage, making it hard to pin down his eventual size, but we're anticipating he'll grow into a small-to-medium adult dog. Portuguese Water Dogs are a clever, spirited, and high-energy breed, and Pax is expected to carry those same traits. Dogs of this type need consistent daily exercise paired with mental enrichment - without it, boredom can quickly turn into destructive habits. Given this, homes with younger children probably aren't the best match for him. Since Pax is still just a baby, there's plenty of training ahead: house training, crate training, walking politely on a leash, and learning basic commands. He'll do best paired with an adopter who has the patience and consistency to guide him through these early, formative stages.
