Meet Ireland - one of eight littermates recently pulled from a packed-to-capacity animal control facility, Ireland is now on the lookout for a family to call her own. She was born early May 2026 and currently weighs a modest ten pounds. Ireland is a Great Pyrenees, meaning she's on track to become a substantial, dignified adult dog. Expect a laid-back temperament, a strong protective instinct, and the kind of loyalty this breed has built its name on. Right now, though, she's still very much a puppy - curious, goofy, eager to sniff out everything around her. That said, anyone considering her should understand that full-grown Pyrenees are large, thick-coated, and independent-minded, with instincts geared toward guarding their turf and their people. We recommend doing thorough research into this breed before you apply. Knowing what an adult Pyrenees is really like will set both of you up for success down the line! Give her room to grow, structure to lean on, and time to become who she's meant to be - Ireland will turn into an unforgettable companion. Ireland's adoption fee is $510, and she has been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. To learn more about Ireland or her siblings, please apply at furkids.org/adopt and a team member will get in touch to set up an in-person meeting. You must be 21+ to adopt.
