Ocean was found as a stray, extremely emaciated, but you'd never guess it from her sweet, playful spirit today. This small 13-15 pound girl loves spending time with her people and adores playing with her foster companion, Olivia - though the two aren't bonded and don't need to be adopted together. Ocean is a joyful player, happiest with stuffed toys indoors and retrieving plastic chickens outside. She's eager to please and treat-motivated, happily sitting for rewards, which makes positive reinforcement training a great fit for her. She even has a solid recall with her foster and reliably comes when called! She's not fully potty trained yet, but she's making steady progress with consistency and routine, and just needs a patient family to help her finish learning her house manners. Ocean is submissive with other dogs and does well with gradual, proper introductions. She can walk nicely on a leash, though she should be double-leashed for safety for now. Ocean is loving, playful, and eager to please, motivated by treats, toys, and a little extra attention. With continued training, structure, and encouragement, she has everything it takes to become a wonderful, devoted companion. Ocean currently weighs about 14 lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date (07/30/2024), and her adoption fee is $185. Ocean has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
