Meet Bridget - At seven years old, Bridget is just beginning her journey of discovering what it truly means to be a dog. Rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation alongside dozens of other beagles, Bridget spent most of her life without the love, safety, and care every dog deserves. Now, she’s finally getting her chance. Bridget is a gentle, sensitive soul who is still learning to navigate the world around her. Everything is new - soft beds, kind hands, open spaces - and while it can feel overwhelming at times, she’s slowly starting to understand that she’s safe. Because of her past, Bridget is very anxious and is a flight risk, so she will need a secure, fenced-in yard where she can explore safely at her own pace. One thing that brings Bridget comfort is other dogs. She absolutely loves them and looks to them for reassurance, guidance, and confidence. A home with a calm, friendly dog would make all the difference in helping Bridget continue to grow and come out of her shell. With patience, understanding, and love, she will blossom in her own time. Watching her learn, trust, and experience joy for the first time is a truly special and rewarding experience. Bridget currently weighs about 22lbs., is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 12/20/2018), and her adoption fee is $315. Bridget has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
