A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Maggie is a 7-year-old Beagle with a heart full of love. This sweet mama was found after having a litter of puppies and was unable to be cared for, so she came to us hoping for a safe, loving forever home. Maggie is a gentle, affectionate soul who adores human companionship. She would do best in a home without small children, where she can feel secure and relaxed. A fenced yard is ideal but not a deal breaker as she walks great on leash once she's comfortable. She can be a bit skittish at first, but with patience she quickly warms up. Maggie loves to snuggle up beside you on the couch and when she is happy, she has the cutest little howl. She loves a warm soft bed and the company of other dogs which help her feel secure as she continues to learn what home life is all about. She’s crate trained and house trained and is ready to make a smooth transition into her new home. Maggie is looking for a calm, loving family who will give her the comfort, patience, and affection she deserves. Maggie weighs 24lbs and is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 07/02/2019). Maggie has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Maggie's adoption fee is $185. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
