A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Maggie is a 7-year-old Beagle with a heart full of love. This sweet mama was found after having a litter of puppies and was unable to be cared for, so she came to us hoping for a safe, loving forever home. Maggie is a gentle, affectionate girl who truly loves being around her people. She would thrive in a home without small children, where she can feel safe, relaxed, and secure. While a fenced yard would be wonderful, it’s not a requirement—once she’s comfortable, Maggie walks beautifully on a leash. She may be a little shy at first, but with patience and kindness, she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds. Maggie’s favorite place is right beside you on the couch, soaking up all the snuggles. When she’s especially happy, she’ll even let out the cutest little howl. Maggie can be a bit anxious when meeting other pets, so she would do best as the only pet or in a home with animals who can respect her boundaries and give her the space she needs to feel comfortable. She’s crate trained and house trained and is ready to make a smooth transition into her new home. Maggie is looking for a calm, loving family who will give her the comfort, patience, and affection she deserves. Maggie weighs 24lbs and is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 07/02/2019). Maggie has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Maggie's adoption fee is $185. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
