Animal Bio

This handsome Scottish Terrier came to Furkids in early 2026 after his owners went through a separation and weren't able to bring him along. It's not the easiest way to start a new chapter, but Angus has taken it all in stride with the calm, easygoing spirit that makes him such a joy to be around. Angus gets along with just about everyone he meets - people and pups alike - and his laid-back nature has made him a favorite among Furkids volunteers. He's not one for chaos or a fast-paced household; Angus prefers the slower, cozier things in life, like a good nap in a sunny spot or a relaxed stroll around the yard. Because he can be sensitive to loud or sudden noises, Angus would do best in a quieter home where he can feel safe, secure, and settled. He's also still working on his potty training and may have the occasional accident in his kennel, but he's making steady, encouraging progress every day. Angus is a sweet, gentle soul just looking for a calm place to call home, and the family lucky enough to adopt him is going to be so, so happy they did. A foster-to-adopt option is available for Angus so you can get to know one another before making it official. Angus' estimated birthdate is July 2023 and he weighs about 25 pounds. His adoption fee is $315 and he has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. To make an appointment to meet with Angus in person, please fill out an adoption survey at furkids.org. You must be 21+ to adopt!
