Meet Walnut! Walnut has come a long way since he arrived at Furkids. He has the most soulful eyes, and loves to be with people on walks or to simply have belly rubs. He is in the process of learning the PLACE, and DOWN command, and he offers SITS freely. He loves to run in the backyard at Furkids to release some of his energy, but he always checks in with his person when called. He would be good in a home with another dog that has medium energy as he does love to play. He would also be good with older children, but not smaller children as he doesn't understand how tall he is, and can be a bit clumsy. He would also do best in a home where someone has dog experience, or to invest in dog training as he still can be puppy like. Adopt Walnut and let his playful spirit fill your home with love and laughter. Walnut weighs 42lbs., is approximately 1 year old (est. birth date 09/05/2023), and his adoption fee is $500. Walnut has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet.
