Meet Badger, a senior dog with a heart as golden as his years. He's sweet, friendly, and cuddly, with a curious streak that belies his age. Despite his mellow demeanor, Badger is still full of life and love. He's a loyal companion who might be a bit shy at first, but give him time and he'll be your best friend. Badger is heartworm positive and has a heart condition, but it doesn't slow him down or require medication currently. He will need monitored care and future veterinary treatment, but don't let that deter you. He's a fighter who's overcome challenges, and he's got plenty of love left to give. Badger is looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years. He may be a senior, but his spirit is timeless. Adopt Badger and gain a loyal, loving friend who will cherish every moment with you. Badger is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Badger is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; He must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Badger weighs 10lbs., is approximately 12 years old (est. birth date 11/12/2017), and his adoption fee is $175. Badger has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
