Bucee is a 2-year-old, 85 lb Retriever with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He came to us after some issues with neighboring chickens in his previous home, and his family made the loving decision to rehome him to ensure everyone’s safety. Because of this, Bucee will need a home without livestock or free-roaming poultry. Despite that background, Bucee is an affectionate, social, and fun-loving boy who enjoys being part of the action. He gets along well with other dogs, is friendly with cats, and does great with kids. He loves to play and interact with his people and thrives in a home where he can be included in daily life. Bucee is both housetrained and crate trained, making him an easy fit into a home routine. He already knows basic commands like “sit” and “in” (for going into the house, car, or crate), showing that he’s attentive and eager to learn. While he enjoys companionship and playtime, he is not a fan of water, so no swimming adventures needed for this guy! With his friendly nature, good manners, and playful spirit, Bucee is ready to find a home that understands his needs and can give him the structure and love he deserves. Bucee currently weighs about 85lbs., is approximately 2 years old (est. birth date 07/31/2023), and his adoption fee is $510. Bucee has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
