If you follow Furkids on social media, you may know about this kitten. Strawberry Shortcake is a survivor of the terrible TransFUR van accident that occurred in October of 2025 while heading to a shelter in Vermont. During the chaos of the pile-up crash, Strawberry Shortcake escaped our van and went into the woods near the highway. She was missing for over three weeks before a kind samaritan recognized her and called us. Thankfully, Strawberry didn't sustain any injuries while out on her escapade. Once she was reunited with her sibling (Suzy Q) after the crash, they instantly bonded and found comfort in one another. Suzy and Strawberry are bonded and must be adopted together. Strawberry deserves a loving home after all she has been through!
