A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Sally Mae is a 1 year old Terrier/Chihuahua mix who perfectly balances spunk and sweetness. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and gets along well with other dogs—she would likely thrive in a home with another furry companion. Shy at first, Sally Mae quickly warms up once she gets to know you and shows off her affectionate, playful personality. This active little girl loves to play, stay busy, and enjoy outdoor adventures. Because she can struggle with anxiety and has a tendency to be a flight risk, a secure, fenced-in yard is a must for her safety while she enjoys her zoomies and outdoor time. She’s also a good walker and responds well to guidance, making her a joy to take on adventures. Sally Mae is looking for a family who understands her needs, can provide her with a safe and loving environment, and appreciates her playful, loving nature. Due to needing a quieter and calmer home, she would do best not going into a home with any small/young children. With the right home, she’s sure to bring endless joy, fun, and companionship to her people. Sally Mae currently weighs about 17 lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 02/04/2024), and her adoption fee is $315. Sally Mae has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
