Meet Salem — Your Playful, Loving, Social Butterfly!
Salem is a 1½-year-old Black Lab mix bursting with energy, love, and personality! This affectionate, playful boy adores making new friends—both human and canine alike—and truly thrives in social settings. Despite his size, Salem thinks he’s a lap dog, loving snuggles and always wanting to be close to the people he adores.
Salem is gentle, eager to please, and smart—he’s already mastering the “sit” command and responds well to redirection. He’s working on not jumping on people and doing great, with continued consistency he’ll only get better. He’s potty trained, sleeps well in his crate, and lets you know when he needs to go outside.
He’s also cat-friendly—curious but respectful—and can coexist peacefully in a multi-pet home. Salem enjoys walks, though he can get excited around squirrels, bikers, and traffic, so calm environments help him thrive.
Full of affection and loyalty, Salem follows you everywhere in the house, snuggles up during quiet moments, and wants to be part of every activity. With his playful personality, love of people, and zest for life, he’ll do best in an active home that can match his energy, give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, and shower him with attention.
If you’re looking for a devoted, snuggly, and joyful companion who will fill your home with laughter and love, Salem is your guy! Salem currently weighs about 63lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 04/03/2024), and his adoption fee is $315. Salem has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
