Meet Rusty, a vibrant orange senior gentleman with a story of resilience. Rusty arrived at Furkids in December 2025 as a stray, weighing just 7 pounds and very sick. Thanks to the care of the Furkids Medical team, he's since bounced back to a healthy 12 pounds! Along the way, they helped him through some rough patches, including dental issues, and extensive testing revealed that Rusty is diabetic. He's now stable and thriving on prescription wet food, daily insulin, and a few supportive supplements. After a hard life on the streets, Rusty just wants a little peace. He loves attention and affection, but he'd truly flourish in a calm, quiet home as the only pet - a place where he can finally relax, be pampered, and enjoy his golden years without complications.
