A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official!
Piccolo was recently surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him, and he’s already showing what a wonderful companion he can be. This sweet boy has a moderate-to-high energy level and loves to play, jump, and run — especially when there’s a game of catch involved! He’s also fun to walk and stays calm and nonreactive around others, though he’s recently started to chew on his leash. Fortunately, he responds well to treats and redirection (he’s very food-motivated!).
While he can be shy at first, Piccolo warms up quickly with patience and a few tasty snacks. Once he trusts you, his playful and affectionate side shines. He knows his basic commands — sit and shake — and is eager to keep learning.
Piccolo is crate trained and mostly housetrained, though like many young pups, he may have an occasional accident when he’s excited. He can be sensitive to loud noises like thunder and has a touch of food possessiveness, so he’ll do best in a patient home that uses positive reinforcement and doesn’t have small or young children.
When he’s not playing, Piccolo enjoys lounging on a soft blanket and quietly taking in the world around him. He’s the perfect mix of playful and gentle — ready to find a loving family who will help him continue to grow in confidence and thrive. Piccolo currently weighs about 32 lbs., (est. birth date 12/01/2024), and his adoption fee is $315. Piccolo has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
