Meet Sleepy, your easygoing, professional snuggler! Sleepy’s story hasn’t been an easy one. She started life as a beloved puppy, but somewhere along the way, things took a heartbreaking turn. She was found wandering the streets of Florida, thin and covered in fleas and ticks, after seemingly being on her own for far too long. Thankfully, Sleepy is now safe, healthy, and ready to find the loving forever home she deserves. After spending time in foster care, we know even more about what makes this girl so special! Sleepy is a gentle, calm, easygoing sweetheart who settles into new surroundings beautifully. She’s wonderful with both adults and children, gets along well with other dogs, and walks nicely on a leash. Her favorite thing? Being loved! Whether she’s making new friends or snuggling beside you on the couch, Sleepy is simply happy to be included. At 6.5 years old and around 29 pounds, Sleepy is the perfect medium-sized companion. She’s past the puppy chaos and ready to enjoy the good life: cozy naps, leisurely walks, a soft place to land, and a family who will never let her wonder where she belongs. Sleepy has already shown us what a loving, adaptable girl she is. Now she just needs someone to show her that the best chapter of her story is still ahead. Could that someone be you? After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet the dog.
