Ellington came to us as part of a hoarding case, but you'd never know it from his heart. Despite everything this sweet boy has been through, he is completely loving and has one very clear mission in life: getting belly rubs. Ellington gets along great with other dogs and loves having canine company. He's a little unsure of new people at first, but give him a few minutes to warm up, and that shy pup turns into a dog who just wants to lean on you and soak up some love. He's never walked on a leash before, but he's a smart cookie and picks things up quickly with a little patience. Because leash training is new to him, we're looking for a home with a secure, fenced yard where he can safely explore and learn the ropes. Since he takes a little time to warm up to new faces, we're not yet sure how he'd do with young children, so we're prioritizing homes without small kids for now. Ellington is ready to leave his past behind and start his happily ever after - could that be with you? Ellington's estimated birthdate is July 2019 and he weighs about 20lbs.
