Meet Nelson, a quiet soul looking for a second chance. This 6-year-old boy was loved for most of his life, but when his owner passed, he ended up at Furkids. Nelson is missing one of his eyes, but he doesn't seem to mind - he loves to sit by a window and watch the birds just like any other cat. Nelson can be shy, and we're sure that the change in environment has been tough on him. He's looking for a patient, understanding adopter who can give him the time and space he needs to love again. We know that once he bonds with his people, he'll make a wonderful addition to the home. Nelson is FIV+, which means he has a slightly compromised immune system, but it's really no big deal. With the proper care, FIV+ cats can live long & happy lives, just like any other cat. They can also live amongst non-FIV cats without any issue.
