A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Introducing Tucker. Tucker is a 2.5-year-old Shepherd mix weighing about 59 pounds, and he’s the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle companionship. With his dashing light beige coat and ever-present smile, Tucker is one handsome dog! This energetic, curious boy loves long walks, romping around with other dogs, and then settling in for some well-earned lounging time in his bed. While Tucker can be a bit shy when meeting new people, once you’re part of his inner circle, he’s all in - soaking up belly rubs, head scratches, and plenty of affection.Tucker is truly a dog’s dog. Other pups are his happy place, and his personality shines brightest when he has a canine friend by his side. He gets along beautifully with dogs of all ages and sizes and will need another dog in the home to feel confident and fulfilled. Tucker has been working with a trainer the past few months to strengthen his confidence and skills, and Tucker's trainer will work with his adopters to ensure an easy transition into his new home. A fenced-in yard is also a must so he can safely zoom, play, and burn off his energy. At home, Tucker is a total gentleman - fully house-trained, crate-trained, and respectful of his space. He would thrive in a predictable, calm household without very small children, where he can bond deeply with his people and enjoy both relaxed days at home and fun outdoor adventures. Tucker weighs 59lbs., is approximately 2.5 years old (est. birth date 05/19/2023), and his adoption fee is $315. Tucker has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
