Meet Piper, a 4-year-old Chihuahua mix bursting with personality, energy, and affection! Piper is looking for a patient, loving, and experienced adopter who can appreciate her quirks and charm. She would thrive in an adult-only home. Piper is smart and highly food-motivated — she knows several commands, including sit, stay, drop it, crate, bed, up, and down. She’s housebroken, crate trained, and loves daily games of fetch (she never destroys her tennis balls!). Piper is affectionate and bonds deeply with her people. She occasionally likes to keep her stuffed animals to herself, so she’ll do best with someone who can provide guidance and structure. She’s an active, curious girl who loves to explore, but she benefits from supervision and guidance to stay safe and not ingest anything she shouldn't be. On walks, Piper can get excited by noises, people, and other dogs, so consistent training and positive reinforcement will help her feel confident and calm while out and about. With her high energy, Piper would thrive in a fenced-in yard where she can safely run and play daily. She also does best with someone who has time to spend with her at home, as she thrives on attention and supervision. Small in size but huge in heart, Piper is a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion looking for the perfect adult-only home to share her love and energy. Piper currently weighs about 9lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 07/17/2021), and her adoption fee is $315. Piper has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
