A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official!
Meet Woofie! This 7-month-old mixed breed named Woofie is all about movement, fun, and making friends. He came to us when his owner experienced health issues and could no longer care for him, and we have fallen in love with this cute boy. Woofie has a neurological condition that causes him to walk in circles, pace, and prance, but according to his foster, it doesn’t slow him down or dampen his joy. He’s currently undergoing testing to learn more about the cause, and in the meantime, he continues to live life to the fullest. This happy, high-energy boy loves long walks, romping around the backyard with his foster brother, and playing all day long. He’s been attending puppy play and training sessions and does wonderfully with other dogs and people. Because Woofie is still learning his manners and doesn’t yet have strong bite inhibition, he would do best in a home without very small children. Woofie is looking for an active, understanding home that will embrace him for exactly who he is - a playful, loving pup with a little extra flair in his step. If you’re ready for adventures, laughs, and a whole lot of love, Woofie might just be your perfect match. Woofie has an est. birth date 05/24/2025 and has been neutered, microchipped and given all age appropriate vaccines and preventions. Woofie has an adoption fee of $340. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about the Woofie, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. After submitting a survey, an adoption counselor will contact you within 72 hours to give you more information about the dog you are interested in adopting and to arrange for you to meet. Must be at least 21 years of age to adopt.
