A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Tippy — a big-hearted snuggle bug who’s ready to fill your home with love, laughter, and endless cuddles! Tippy came to Furkids from an overcrowded shelter, but it’s clear he once knew the love of a family. From the moment you meet him, you’ll see that his favorite place to be is right by your side. He’s the ultimate companion — loyal, affectionate, and happiest when he can curl up next to you for hugs and snuggles (he truly believes he’s a lap dog, despite his size!). Tippy is potty trained, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He listens well when called and is highly treat motivated, making him a joy to train and spend time with. While he’s mostly indifferent to other dogs and doesn’t show reactivity, he’s definitely more of a “people” kind of guy who thrives on human connection. When he’s not soaking up affection, Tippy enjoys running happy circles around the yard and playing fetch — just don’t be surprised if he chooses cuddles over playtime! With his gentle nature, loyalty, and sweet spirit, it’s no wonder Tippy is a volunteer favorite here at Furkids. If you’re looking for a loving, easygoing companion who just wants to be your best friend, Tippy is your guy! Tippy currently weighs about 58 lbs., is approximately 7 years old (est. birth date 05/01/2018), and his adoption fee is $185. Tippy has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
