A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Twirl is a stunning 3-year-old German Shepherd with an adventurous spirit and energy to spare! She’s a sweet, well-behaved girl who would love an active home where she can truly thrive. Whether it’s running, exploring, or simply staying on the move, Twirl is happiest when she has an outlet for her energy—she even jogs better than she walks and could make an excellent running partner. Twirl prefers to be the only pet in the household, as she’s not comfortable around other dogs or cats. With her strength and enthusiasm, she’ll do best with a confident, experienced owner and a secure fenced yard where she can safely run and play. Our kennel staff reports that she’s doing great with her routines and no longer has accidents in her kennel. She can be a strong puller on leash, but with patience, consistency, and plenty of treats, Twirl has wonderful potential to keep improving her manners and training. She’s very responsive and eager to bond with her person. While she does have a slight hitch in her back leg when running at top speed, it doesn’t slow her down or stop her from enjoying all her favorite activities. Twirl currently weighs about 53lbs., is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 03/20/2023), and her adoption fee is $85. Twirl has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
