A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Twirl! A beautiful, intelligent 3-year-old shepherd mix with a vibrant spirit and an affectionate heart eager to connect! This active, fun-loving girl loves adventures, whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, learning something new, or simply enjoying playtime with her people. Twirl already has a great foundation of skills and knows basic commands like sit, down, and touch. She walks nicely on leash, checks in often, and is eager to learn—especially when treats are involved! Twirl would thrive with a confident, experienced owner who can provide structure and consistency. She enjoys playing with compatible dogs after thoughtful introductions She can be wary around some men, so slow introductions help her feel comfortable. Because of her high prey drive, she isn't a match for homes with cats or smaller dogs. Our kennel staff reports that Twirl is doing wonderfully with her routine and keeping her space clean. With patience, consistency, and love, Twirl has all the makings of an incredible companion. Twirl currently weighs about 53 lbs., is approximately 3 years old (estimated birth date 03/20/2023), and her adoption fee is $85. Twirl has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is microchipped.
