Meet Vivien – The Sweetheart with a Spirited Side! Vivien is a 10-month-old Dachshund mix who’s looking for her forever home! Found as a stray, this curious cutie is full of love and potential. She’s housetrained, super social, and absolutely adores everyone she meets — a true social butterfly! Vivien is still learning the ropes when it comes to leash walking, so she should be considered a flight risk for now and needs a secure yard and cautious handling on walks. With a bit more practice and patience, she’s sure to improve! She’s incredibly smart and already knows commands like “Sit”. While she may need a little work on her basic manners, she’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance. Vivien does have a high prey drive, so she’s not a good fit for homes with cats or chickens. She’s also a bit anxious around loud noises, but with love and reassurance, she’s learning to feel safe and confident. With plenty of exercise, continued training, and a family who will give her the attention she craves, Vivien is sure to become an amazing lifelong companion. We are learning more about all of our new Furkids everyday. We will update once we learn more. Vivien currently weighs about 24lbs., is approximately 10 months old (est. birth date 07/29/2024), and her adoption fee is $315. Vivien has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
