**Classic Subaru of Atlanta has generously sponsored professional training for Lucky if he finds his forever home in October! ** Meet Lucky, an adorable boy that has been looking for his humans for far too long. His hobbies include eating snacks, drinking from the hose, getting out for some fresh air, and most of all playing fetch. Although Lucky loves being active, he also loves leaning in closely to his human companions and showing them affection. A volunteer favorite, Lucky will win you over with his silly personality and his eagerness to please. He is very smart and knows several commands including "sit" and "drop it," and he is house trained! Lucky loves being active in the big back yard at Furkids, but he has learned to enjoy leisurely walks and does well on a leash. If he gets anxious, he has a tendency to chew on his leash (a metal leash is recommended), but with some redirection, he can focus on the adventure at hand. Lucky will need to be the only dog in the home as he does not like to share his toys or food. He loves older teens, but can be shy around unfamiliar men at first, but with patience and consistency, he forms strong bonds. This loyal and smart boy is ready to bring love and companionship to his forever home! A foster-to-adopt option is available for Lucky giving you the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Lucky weighs 47lbs. and is approximately 3 years old (est. birth date 11/30/2022). Lucky has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
