A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Jupiter – one of the brave survivors from Juno's Litter, rescued alongside his seven siblings and their mama from a heartbreaking dumping situation. Before coming into our care, Jupiter had never known the warmth of a gentle touch or the comfort of a safe home. These pups came to us semi-feral, scared, and unsure of the world—but Jupiter has come a long way. Through love, patience, and consistent care in our program, Jupiter is slowly learning that people can be kind, and that affection feels good. He’s made incredible progress with socialization, and while he still has a journey ahead of him, his sweet spirit is beginning to shine. Jupiter will need a patient, experienced adopter who understands the needs of fearful dogs. Because he’s still building confidence and working on leash skills, he’ll require a secure, fenced-in yard and a quiet environment where he can continue to grow. Due to his background, he should be considered a bite risk during this transitional period. Just as important, Jupiter will need a home with another friendly, well-adjusted dog. Having a canine companion by his side gives him comfort, confidence, and a role model to learn from—it’s a key part of his healing journey. This boy is a testament to resilience—and with the right person, Jupiter has the potential to become a loving, loyal companion. He didn’t choose the life he was born into, but with your help, he can finally have the life he deserves. Jupiter has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Each puppy has a birth date of 11/01/2024 and each puppy has an adoption fee of $185. Each puppy is estimated to be around 50-70 pounds, full grown. Puppies require a lot of time and commitment. Please make sure your schedule can accommodate a puppy as they will be a member of your family for the next 10 to 15 years. If you want to know more about Juno's Litter, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. .
