A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Meet Lavender, a sweet 2.5-year-old Pitbull mix weighing 41 pounds who is ready to fill a home with love! Lavender’s journey hasn’t been easy.. We rescued her from a county shelter after she had been found living outside in freezing temperatures, left with what remained of her litter of eight puppies, some of whom didn’t survive the extreme cold. Thanks to the care and dedication of our amazing foster family, all of her surviving pups have found their forever homes, and now it’s Lavender’s turn. When she first arrived, Lavender was almost completely shut down. But with patience, love, and gentle guidance, she’s discovered that she can give and receive love. She’s now fully potty trained, has made great progress on leash, and gets along wonderfully with dogs, cats, and humans alike. Lavender is looking for a patient adopter who understands that building trust takes time. Children in the home should go slow and let her approach first until she gets to know you. With the right person, Lavender will blossom into the devoted, loving companion she’s meant to be. If you’re ready to open your heart and give this incredible girl a chance, Lavender promises to return every ounce of love and then some. Lavender currently weighs about 41lbs., is almost 2.5 years old (est. birth date 08/28/2023), and her adoption fee is $315. Lavender has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
