Everly came to us as part of a hoarding case, and it's left its mark.. she's a fearful girl who needs patience and a gentle hand. But once she starts to trust you, her sweet side shines through. Everly has zero experience with normal dog life, including walking on a leash - it's completely foreign to her and can overwhelm her right now. She is capable of learning, she just needs time and a family willing to go at her pace. She'd do best with another small breed dog in the home who can help show her the ropes. Because of her leash troubles, we're requiring a home with a secure fenced yard for a small breed dog, giving her safe space to decompress and explore. Everly isn't looking for a family that needs an easy dog - she's looking for one with the patience to help her become one. If that's you, reach out today to learn more about bringing her home. Everly currently weighs 14 pounds and her estimated birthdate is January 2025. Her adoption fee is $175 and she's been spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Please apply at furkids.org/adopt to get connected with our adoption counselors and set up a time to meet her in person. You must be 21+ to adopt.
