Meet Ella... a precious girl who deserves a fresh start. Ella came to Furkids after being rescued from animal control as part of a large hoarding case, where she spent far more time with other dogs than with people. As a result, she can be scared and skittish around humans and still has a lot to learn about trusting us. Ella gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help show her the ropes. Since she's never been on a leash and is currently a flight risk, we're requiring a home with a secure, small-breed-proof fenced yard. Ella may try to dart away at first, but once she's safely in your arms, she melts into the attention and affection. This sweet girl just needs someone willing to give her the chance at a normal, loving life she's never had. Ella's estimated birthdate is May 2019 and she weighs about 17 pounds.
