With his handsome looks and big-hearted personality, Chuck is impossible not to love. This sweet 4-year-old German Shepherd mix has an infectious zest for life. He adores people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and approaches each day with a happy, easygoing spirit that makes everyone around him smile. Chuck is blind, but don't let that fool you—it certainly doesn't slow him down! He's a smart, confident boy who has learned directional commands that help him navigate the world with ease during walks and while exploring new places. With a little guidance and consistency, Chuck takes on each day with enthusiasm and confidence. Chuck is ready to find a family that will appreciate his loving spirit and incredible resilience. He'll reward you with endless affection, unwavering loyalty, and plenty of happy tail wags. Chuck is currently undergoing treatment for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Chuck is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area. His adopter must be able to bring him to Furkids' shelter for his scheduled heartworm treatments. Chuck weighs about 87 pounds, and his adoption fee is $185. He has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations and preventatives, and is microchipped.
