Barbara is a sweet beagle estimated to be around 5 years old. She is truly the sweetest girl—she loves to be held and snuggled, and while she may be a bit timid at first, her curious side quickly shines through as she begins to explore her surroundings.
Barbara was rescued along with several other beagles from a local animal control hoarding case. Because of this, she has had minimal human exposure and is now learning what it means to be a normal, loved dog. What we already know is that these dogs, including Barbara, are incredibly gentle and sweet.
Furkids is currently in the process of fully vetting Barbara. Once completed, she will be available for meet and greets and then adoption. We are accepting and screening applications in advance to help her get into her forever home as soon as possible.
Due to her background, Barbara will require a fenced yard, as she is not yet comfortable walking on a leash. Additionally, because beagles love to use their voices, we are not recommending apartment living due to potential noise concerns.
