A foster-to-adopt option is available for me, giving us the chance to get to know each other before making it official! Odie is a 3.5-year-old, 73-pound Pitbull mix who turns heads everywhere he goes. With one golden light-brown eye and the other the color of sea glass, his soulful gaze will melt your heart. But Odie isn’t just about good looks - he’s also brimming with love and personality. This snuggly boy’s favorite place is right by your side, whether that means curling up on the couch, riding shotgun in the car, or joining you on a walk or adventure. Odie is smart and eager to please - he already knows sit, down, leave it, and wait, and he’ll hold his commands until you release him. Because he doesn’t realize quite how big he is, Odie would do best in a home with older kids who can handle his playful energy. He’s also dog-friendly and would thrive with a companion who either matches his energy or is more mellow. Cats haven’t been tested yet, but we think he may do just fine with them. Odie is house-trained, crate-trained, and will be happiest with daily exercise - whether that’s a stroll, a run, or backyard sniffing sessions. Above all, Odie is a loyal, loving companion just waiting to share his joy with a forever family. Odie's DNA results say he is 63% American Bully and 37% American Pitbull Terrier. Odie currently weighs about 73.2lbs., is approximately 4 years old (est. birth date 11/20/2021), and his adoption fee is $185. Odie has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
