Meet Andy (“Chicky”) ????
Andy loves his person with his whole heart. Once he bonds with you, he wants to be by your side for everything—running errands, helping with chores, riding along on adventures, or simply curling up in your lap for a nap. He settles nicely in his crate when left alone and does well with calm, low-energy dogs in the home.
Andy was born with a left front leg that didn't develop normally. His adorable little “chicken wing” earned him the nickname Chicky! While he does have some mobility limitations, they don't slow him down much. He enjoys walks and gets around the house well, though he appreciates a helping hand with stairs and getting on and off furniture.
Andy is deeply loyal and devoted to his chosen person. He forms strong attachments and prefers to approach new people on his own terms. Given time, patience, and a slow introduction, Andy can grow and thrive in his home.
Because of his tiny size (just 6 pounds), special needs, and personality, Andy would do best in an adult-only home where his boundaries are respected. He's also a good little watchdog and will bark to alert you when he hears unfamiliar noises or notices someone entering the room or house. Otherwise, he's generally a quiet companion.
Andy is currently working on his house-training skills. He wears a belly band when he has free roam of the house and continues to make progress.
If you're looking for a devoted sidekick who will love you endlessly and stick by your side through every part of the day, Andy may be the perfect match. ❤️????
